Sofi vs Chucky
From that moment I haven’t been able to see a horror movie alone. When I was 7 years old I noticed that my parents were watching a horror movie called “Chucky” in their room ,my sister and I were intrigued to know what it was about, so we stayed in the room watching the movie but what I did not know is the fact that, that movie would bring me many nightmares.
My sister, my mom and I kept watching the movie -”It's a horror movie are you sure that you want to continue watching” My mom exclaimed, “We are sure right sarita(my sister)? “Right” She answered “okay so we can continue with the movie”My mom sayed trusting in us,I thought I could take it but no, after about 15 minutes I started to feel scared but I said to myself: "It's just a movie, it's not real" until the movie reached a scene which seemed bloody to me, so at that moment I decided to stop watching and do something else to try to forget the scene (I watched no more of 30 minutes of the movie)but that part of the movie and with 7 years old really mark me.
At that time according to me I was fine but the truly dark came at night.
At nightfall I had to go to sleep as usual but I began to see the doll every time I closed my eyes, which scared me a lot, I was like that for almost an hour until I decided that the best was going to sleep in my twin Sister’s bed.
and even so I fell asleep very late thinking about that dool.
I was that way for 2 months more less, and I did not sleep in my own room alone for about 1 year until I decided to take courage and sleep alone. My parents helped me by buying me a very nice lamp which helped me a lot at night .
From this experience I understood that I must always pay attention to what they recommend after all, they know me and know how it could affect me
I know how ugly it is to see a horror movie that sacres you that bad, that it just don´t let you sleep, In my case it was with a clown movie, I couldn´t sleep for almost a year alone, I had the worst nightmares because of that movie. And i really like how your parents help you to stand that fear with some light of a lamp, it really help some people.
ResponderBorrarThe same thing has happened to me too, with another movie called: Jeepers creepers. It is a movie about a demon who comes to eat. I just saw it at night and after that I went to sleep. But I never could. I had nightmares about it for a week. But then I saw how my dad didn't scare me anymore.
ResponderBorrarI lived something like you story,when I was little, and I really felt the same that you, those people and the photos of blood always came to my mind, when I slept or ate, it was very strange, but when I grown I forgot it, and now that I read your story I remeber all.

ResponderBorrarSomething similar has happened to me in the same way with a doll and that it feels ugly, I decided to simply take it out of my room and not hear from it. I liked your story and how you expressed yourself in it, a very good story
ResponderBorrarI had a similar experience, when I was 5 or 6 I saw a little bit of a chucky movie and I had many nightmeres that nightl, its a shame to see the new chucky movies because they are very bad
ResponderBorrarThe family, especially our parents, are some of the poeple who know us more than anyone else, and it is true they know what is good for us and what is bad. And I think that most of us have some times in our lives felt terror by a movie of this classification. And I really know what you are talking about, that fear that any of these teddies or dolls move or want to hurt you is truly chilling. The truth is that it seemed like a very good story to me.
ResponderBorrarWhat a good story I think that when we are smaller we have more fear I am very funny about this story since the same thing happened to me and now that I am a little older I am distracted remembering the fear I had of horror movies.
