Why did I choose that speech?

  “I am fighting for my future”  is a speech of Severn Suzuki in 1992 known “for the voice that silenced the world in 7 minutes”.On this essay I am going to  tell three reasons about why I decided to choose this awesome speech.

“I am only a child” was a phrase of Severun that made many people reflect about their actions, First of all I chose this speech because this girl makes me proud, that being so young she was able to silence all the people in that place just by expressing her opinion and thoughts about what is going to happen to the world in the future and if their children will be able to see the earth like her ,if her children will be able to see the animals like her and if her children will be able to breathe the air without any worries.

 “If you do not know how to fix it please stop breaking it”Secondly another reason is that her speech really makes me reflect about my actions  with the earth and what I usually think about some things that happen in my reality  that are killing the earth because I’m also worried about how humans can be so greedy, in her speech,  this girl  mentioned that she talked to a homeless child and he said that if he would be rich he will give all his money to the homeless children for their care because he knows what it feels like and no one should live it.

"Make your actions reflect your words"Finally the third reason is because I worry of this too,I worry because we have very little time for cutting our emissions,because if we still  being so selfish with the earth ,with the incredible animals,with the oceans and other our house is going to die in a few years and is going to be our completely fault for the human ambition to always have more and more,we have to think about  that animals dying consequently of our waste,for the oceans getting more trash than water something that really affect the animals and all the habitats there 

To sum up I choose this incredible speech because I care about our planet,because with this speech I take in count a few activities of my daily life that are really killing the earth and one of the most important because this girl gives me hope and motivation to continue with the work of caring for the planet and continue loving my home.
